Toyota developed its production system between 1948 and 1975. The global automotive industry adopted it as Lean Manufacturing in the 90s. Software, manufacturing and logistics followed. Construction did not. We're 30 years behind the industries that already validated the method. BIMARG exists to close that gap.

Why BIM

Construction is the only industry in the world where the first prototype is the real building.

Toyota crashes the car a thousand times against a virtual wall before touching the metal. Boeing flies the first plane inside a computer. Construction still finds the problems with the walls already up and the money already spent. That's why it's the only industry that in 80 years barely improved its productivity: agriculture and manufacturing multiplied by 10 to 15 times. Construction stayed frozen.

A BIM model is not documentation. It is information engineering. It is not a tidier drawing or a file that gets sketched. It is the complete reconstruction of the building in a digital environment, with every pipe, beam and duct modelled and cross-checked. Clashes are detected before they exist in reality, where fixing them is free.
BIM does not belong in the project fees line. It belongs in cost-overrun control. That is the mistake we see most often: putting BIM inside the designer's fee budget. It is misplaced. BIM belongs alongside performance bonds and contingency. That is where its real return shows: it is the insurance of the project's profitability.
Ten years building the template. A shipyard does not improvise how to model a vessel. An aircraft plant has its system. Construction is the only industry that still starts from scratch on every job. BIMGRID™ is our own system: the structure that lets us build the complete digital twin in months, not years. That is what you contract. I'm Franco Srebernic, BIM Manager and founder of BIMARG. I've been documenting construction in Argentina for 13 years. I spent 2 years in Australia working as a lead hand on real sites, learning how the industry thinks when the system works. And 6 months in England, in the home of RIBA Plan of Work, seeing how it runs when the standard is the rule, not the exception. That same method runs inside BIMGRID™ on every project we deliver.

Today we operate from Argentina for architecture studios, construction firms and developers across the country. In the second half of 2026 we're opening operations in Spain and England, the markets that taught me how the industry should run.

I'm convinced the work we do unlocks things bigger than a well-built model: when a project is properly documented, ROI goes up, wages go up, costs come down, and housing becomes more affordable. That's why we do this.
